Rosary Making
-
Learn
to make a strung Rosary (either Roman or Anglican), and learn the
difference between the two. If you have a special Crucifix you want
to use, be sure to bring it with you. I will also show you the
basics of a wired rosary, but we probably won't have the time to
complete one of those. If you want to make a second Rosary, there
will be an additional product charge.
Our Lady of the Rosary - October 7th
This important feast was originally established by Pope St. Pius V.
It purpose was to thank God for the victory of Christians over the Turks at
Lepanto in 1571. The victory was attributed to the praying of the
Rosary on the day of the battle in Rome. The feast would later be
celebrated throughout the entire Church. In 1917 at Fatima, Our Blessed
Mother, identified herself as the Lady of the Rosary. When Pope John
Paul II declared 2002 as the year of the Rosary, he said praying the Rosary
brings abundant grace to the faithful and it is a vital part of Christian
life as a devotion to Mary. Cost is $40.00.

A Classic Heirloom
When you pass on something special to one of
your heirs, it is called an "heirloom". When that item is very
special - and valuable, it is called a classic heirloom. We sell
everything needed for you to create that piece of wearable art that you
can be proud to pass on to the next generation. This is why we
call our bead & jewelry shop "Heirloom Classics".
