Silver Casting

This is a new class by Jerry Day.  Here you will learn how to cast an object in Silver.

This is a three hour class, and you will have your object in silver when you are done.

The class starts with a wax item, which you will imbed in a casting material.  After this investment hardens, we will melt the wax out to leave a cavity.  Then we will melt scrap silver and force it into the space where the was was.  After it cools, the silver is removed and cleaned up.

The first class will be held at the end of February and pictures will be taken.
